Ohio University Announces Plans for New Marching 110 Band Complex and Practice Range

From prestigious events like the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade to countless performances on soccer fields across the country and around the world. ohio university marching 110 has been known for more than a century for its unforgettable performances, unique marching style, and unparalleled precision.

And soon, for the first time in its storied 100-year history, it received a transformative $1 million gift from President Lori Stewart Gonzalez and Marching 110 alumni Sean and Tracy (Hannah) Hurley. This project will be submitted to the Ohio University Board of Trustees for review and consideration at a future meeting.

“Marching 110 is one of Ohio University's most valued traditions of excellence, but for decades there has been no dedicated space on campus to rehearse it,” President Gonzalez said. “Building a permanent home for the Marching 110 is a top priority for me, and the Hurleys are the reason we are able to move this project forward. We will name the new practice field in their honor. Is included.”
